A Look Back on 2015

2015 was full of many incredible moments. I conquered some fears (which should always happen at least once a year I think!), visited some beautiful places, made some amazing new friends and feel like I have grown within myself.

Roadtrip to Le Mans..


At the weekend, I had one of those spontaneous moments and decided it would be a great idea to travel 10+ hours overnight to Le Mans, France. The first question you ask is, why?! Well.. I wanted to surprise L at work, and because well… it’s Le Mans!

The Great British Bake Off!

I LOVE baking, however I had never really watched The Great British Bake Off until this season. My race team had the honour of Paul Hollywood driving one of our race cars at Brands Hatch back in July, and he was such a pleasant guy! The amount of attention he received at the circuit was crazy, so I thought – I must watch it!


The other week, they done an ‘Alternative Ingredients’ week, meaning no gluten, no diary, and no sugar. Perfect!

Silverstone heartache

It was the World Series by Renault this weekend at a very sunny Silverstone, and wow was it one to pull the heart strings!

It was my first WSR event since Motorland, Spain in April, so it was great to catch up with everyone again, and see some faces I hadn’t seen in months. However, L had three races this weekend in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup series with his driver Ben Barnicoat, so I knew instantly it was going to be a manic weekend.

First race, and on the first lap I heard the commentator say in shock, “huge crash at the back end of the circuit!” – my heart dropped into my stomach. Continue reading
